Controlled Heat
For those finding the process of dealing with fresh salted eggs cumbersome or wishing to avoid wasting egg whites, salted egg powder is a convenient and cost-effective choice. During cooking, it’s crucial to control the heat with a gentle flame for safety. Monitor the temperature to prevent it from getting too high; you can also turn off the heat at times and use the residual heat of the pan to stir evenly and avoid burning.
Freedom in Ingredients
When choosing ingredients, focus on those easy to store to ensure the snack remains enjoyable for several days. For instance, if you’re not a fan of peanuts, you can substitute them with sunflower seeds or cashew. Dried chili provides a numbing and spicy sensation; if it doesn’t suit your taste, you can replace it with chili powder or crushed dried chili. This part allows for free customization based on personal preferences.
This salted egg corn flakes snack is suitable not only for daily enjoyment but also for celebrating events or family gatherings. Sharing it among a group while chatting creates a delightful experience, and it disappears quickly as if it were a commercially available snack. However, due to the inclusion of many dry ingredients, it may naturally induce thirst, so remember to stay hydrated while savoring the delicious treat!
